Fresno Police officers shot a woman holding a knife to the back of another woman’s neck near Fresno’s Manchester Center. The incident Thursday morning ended with the suspect being shot in the head, according to police. According to Fresno Police Chief Mindy Casto, the incident was a “hostage situation” that began when a FAX bus driver first spotted the woman at around 10:30 a.m. near the FAX building outside Manchester Center brandishing a knife. That’s when the bus driver contacted the police.
